Quick summary (the human version)

We collect the minimum we need to deliver your guide and improve the product. We don't sell your data. We don't add you to a marketing list without your permission. Your questionnaire answers stay in your browser — they don't reach our servers unless you complete a purchase.

1. What we collect

Through the questionnaire

The questionnaire collects answers about your employment situation: parent role (birthing/non-birthing), employment type, tenure, hours, and whether your employer offers paid leave. These answers are stored only in your browser's sessionStorage and are cleared when you close the tab or complete checkout.

At checkout

When you purchase a guide, our payment processor (Shopify) collects your name, email, billing address, and payment information. We use this information to fulfill your order, deliver your guide, and respond to support requests.

Through our website

Like most websites, we collect basic technical information automatically: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URLs. We use this for analytics (Google Analytics 4) and to improve the site.

2. How we use it

  • To match you to the correct guide and deliver it to you
  • To respond to support requests
  • To process refunds when applicable
  • To improve the questionnaire flow and the guides themselves
  • To comply with our legal obligations (tax records, etc.)

3. What we don't do

  • We don't sell your personal information
  • We don't share your data with third parties for their marketing purposes
  • We don't add you to a marketing email list without your explicit opt-in
  • We don't store credit card details — those go straight to Shopify's PCI-compliant infrastructure

4. Cookies & tracking

We use:

  • Essential cookies for the questionnaire to remember your answers between questions and for the shopping cart to function.
  • Google Analytics 4 to understand site usage in aggregate. IP addresses are anonymized.
  • Shopify cookies for the checkout flow.

You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings without breaking the questionnaire or checkout.

5. Data retention

Order records are retained for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes. Questionnaire answers are not retained server-side; they live only in your browser session. Email correspondence is retained as long as needed to provide ongoing support.

6. Your rights under CCPA

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have about you
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Opt out of any sale of personal information (we don't sell, but you can confirm this)
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

7. Children

Wolff Pack is intended for adult users. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced on the homepage.
